Allen Elder Law is dedicated to the issues facing today’s seniors and baby boomers. It is oriented to help families with the very real issues our aging population must face. These issues include the traditional legal solutions of preparing legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney and helping with probating estates or administering trusts.
But these issues also include non-traditional legal concerns such as
identifying appropriate long term care programs and methods of paying for them such as Medicare, Medicaid, and veteran’s pensions as well as protecting the assets that families have worked so hard to accumulate. We focus as much on planning for living as we do on planning for dying. The goal is to help our clients to live full and secure lives as well as to help distribute assets quickly and efficiently when the time comes.
Allen Elder Law was founded by Gary F. Allen. Gary has been an attorney for more than 36 years and is a member of the Elder Law and Probate and Estates Law Sections of the Michigan Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
